Welcome to Idlewilde Event Center at Indian Springs State Park

Conveniently located near I-75 in middle Georgia, Indian Springs is one of the oldest state parks in the United States and a popular spot for outdoor recreation.

Idlewilde Event Center at Indian Springs State Park is available for reservations. The name is derived from the majestic house on the property that serves as the park office and visitor center; and is on the National Historic Register. With another nod to past, the individual rooms in the center are even named after the historic hotels that once thrived in the village of Indian Springs. Idlewilde has 20,000 square feet of event space including a massive lake side porch with beautiful views of the water. With a capacity of 500 people, Idlewilde can accommodate a variety of events, from birthday parties and family reunions, to weddings and corporate retreats. Additional features include a catering kitchen and audio visual capabilities in every room.

FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf, being more closely related to golf. The game is played with a regulation #5 soccer ball with rules and course similar to that of golf.

Brazell's Creek Golf Course at Jack Hill State Park

The Peach Course
The overview of this short but technical course will challenge the best of the Tour Players. Players will need to think ball placement on every shot. With balls rolling across golf greens to the pin placement at the back of some of the golf greens complex, it will really test a player’s ability to gage ball speed on an approach shot. If a player putts too long on some of the holes it will have them chipping over a curb to get back to the hole to save par. Remember, par is sweet, but to get that birdie, well, that’s what we here in Georgia say: “That’s just peachy”.

Sunshine Course
On this course Mother Nature herself could be a force to be reckoned with. A wide open landscape allows for wind to come bellowing down the fields. This course plays fast on the grass due to the wind always seeming to be blowing and drying this course out fast. With many undulating fairways and the weather factors, players will need to take full advantage of every tool in their game. Sunshine course’s estimated total length is 3150 yards. If Mother Nature is calm on competition days we might see some really remarkable far off shots holed out. Will the sun be shining on you this November in Georgia?
